Fashion trip (1 of 3) window shopping (Adelaide CBD)

Showing the enduring influence of Vivienne Westwood. How many decades ago did she first turn inner wear into high fashion outer wear?

Lately I've been so busy ... haven't been active on Flickr ... you know... blame it on holidays :) But I'll cath up all your work !!

♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪

Sometimes small things

Can change the way you feel about life

And it's all so different now

You make it so clear

Whenever you're near

I've opened my eyes

Seen the dawn in a deep blue sky

We could fly we could try

To be something special girl

Something beautiful

Sweet joy

I like it sweet joy you bring

Don't change it one single thing ...

Bull ants - from somewhere around Exmouth, Western Australia..

According to the Australian Museum, they are "large, alert ants that can grow up to 40 mm (more than one and a half inches [1.5748 inches]), with characteristic large eyes, long, slender mandibles (jaws) and a potent venom-loaded sting. I can attest to the sting bit.

Small Things (Jan 11 - Jan 17)

Has the world gone mad, or is it me?

All these small things they gather round me

Gather round me

Is it all so very bad, I can’t see

Oh all these small things they gather round me

Gather round me

And I can't see.

Day 13/365

Week 3 Theme

Small Things (Jan 11 - Jan 17)

It is a small thing but it has become a fun daily event wondering if the albino pigeon will show up today. Any distraction of a positive sort is such a blessing.

A group of very small things - 1:87 scale figures with 3mm faceted gems.

I love weird little things; we have a bunch of these shelves I call “Small Things Shelves” and I’m always hunting for other weird little bits that catch my eye. I can’t wait for flea market season to come around again, I just know at the bottom of a dusty cardboard box there is treasure waiting for me.

Color is where you find it. Images of rock and life from the Duluth, Minnesota area.

Visit my website www.annabrambillaph.com and take a look my pictures on Getty Images or 500px.

Camo nesting box for birds, up a palm tree in Magill (suburban Adelaide) South Australia)

The camo job on the nesting box caught my photographic eye...

Another from the New York Botanical Gardens, wandering around after leaving the Orchid show. This is "Stachyurus Praecox" Rubriflora ( a mouth full!) lol

Really love this place!

Be well my friends

Heute ist super Wetter. Das nutzt Kalle natürlich aus und verbringt den Tag am Meer.

Sent an old fashioned textmessage to my wife since I had to leave home for work darn early today.

The text is on the back, stating that the brewer is loaded an o/n oats ready in the fridge.

Better than the modern version for sure.

Happy wife, happy life.

A tiny presence,

almost invisible to a distracted gaze.

But not to mine,

moving slowly through the undergrowth,

waiting for a ray of sunlight

to settle on something worthy.

For a brief moment, the light chooses it,

and what once seemed nothing

becomes a revelation.

Una presenza minuscola,

quasi invisibile a uno sguardo distratto.

Ma non al mio,

che attraversa il sottobosco lentamente,

in attesa che un raggio di sole

decida di posarsi su qualcosa di degno.

Per un istante la luce lo sceglie,

e ciò che sembrava nulla

diventa rivelazione.

In the mood tonight for some jazz, thought and a ice cold brew.
