Finding beautiful flowers with a hiking pal is so much nicer than always going alone.
A friend sent me the tiny Squatch as a lucky charm to carry in my pocket.
This will be so much fun! Exploring the woods with a different perspective with tiny figures!
Come on Spring and warm weather, let's see what we can find!

Size of the object is 0.5mm x 4mm
Well not really a stream, more a case of rain water running down a channel created by tyres of a track and over a pebble. It’s the light that appeals to me - both the reflection on the water and the sky in the distance.
Trying for a week of close up images of "interesting" things... today's offering is a set of keys on a Piano - used my iPhone to get very low/close to the keys for a different perspective.
Stack mit 20 Aufnahmen mit dem Olympus 60mm Makro und Raynox M150 - ohne Stacking reicht die Schärfentiefe nicht sehr weit.
IWC Portugieser F.A. Jones.
Still enjoying small things, but this is the last of this series: raindrops on a feather, found somewhere around Sydney, NSW.

"Aaaaah mom. You gonna need a little more than a magic carpet and powder to stop the war. You know that, right ? "
Those were the words from my little boy as I was planing this scene.
But I woman can wish ? Doesn't she ??

Week 27 Small Things
Shot with a Schneider Kreuznach "Componon 35 mm F 4" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
Gnome by the fire.
Shot on a white board but added 'sky swap' to the bottom with a mask and night sky of stars. I am finding new ways to use the different effects and masks in ON1.

"They come all the way from Rome,
a place called Trastevere, the other side of Rome "over the river Tibre"
I had them at a small shop where they make glass in a traditional way.
They "flew" all the way from Rome to Paris and then to Fortuna California..."
from catherine.
you will see more pictures of these when I decide what to do with them. in the meantime I keep them in a little net bag. the bag came to me from a friend in the UK.
Having a play with some flowers in ice cubes. I ended up putting them in a cup as they were sliding around too much on the surface I originally put them on so this isn't quite what I was aiming for but that's photography for you.
We saw this on our hike in Wells Gray Park in British Columbia. It's a Bleeding Tooth Fungus. Thick red fluid oozes through its tiny pores, creating the appearance of blood. 😳

With Petzval 1.9/58 mm, Star-apperture and 16mm extension tube - freehand.
Captured the delicate beauty of this pink flower, using a wide aperture to create a dreamy, creamy bokeh. The soft background highlights the intricate details of the petals, bringing out their natural elegance. Sometimes, it’s the simplest moments that remind me of the quiet beauty in nature.
What do you think? There’s something so peaceful about focusing on the small things. 🌸✨

...He is the leader of the MiniBots.
He is acquiring some droids for his work.
He is a time traveler and often uses a time machine or finds portals and worm holes to move from one realm to another.

I purchased these 'MiniBots' over a years ago and they sure have been fun to photograph. I've never been sure about their 'purpose' but as one's imagination stretches....
their purpose eventually comes to life.
I've used these little figures in enough toy photos that I think they will deserve their own album.

Captured this delicate moment of nature in perfect harmony, a vibrant blue flower paired with a tiny red ladybug. The bright colours and gentle details make this macro shot feel like a tiny world of its own.
This little thing has kept me sane during this extended lockdown... no doubt speaking to like minded people here.
