Julia Child (née McWilliams;[1] August 15, 1912 – August 13, 2004) was an American chef, author, and television personality. She is recognized for bringing French cuisine to the American public with her debut cookbook, Mastering the Art of French Cooking, and her subsequent television programs, the most notable of which was The French Chef, which premiered in 1963.
I collect interesting looking seedpods, branches, rocks with lines on them and the occasional egg shell and feather.
The seeds above the quail egg shell are my all time favorite, they are from Athens, Greece.
The snail shaped branch, and black rocks are from a beach at Tofino, BC.
Everything else in the photo are from parks around my neighbourhood, ok, except for the egg which is from a supermarket :P

i guess i kind of wanted to do a small series about small things. details. i want to do more of these, but i didn't start photographing until the light was almost gone. and these three images are the best i could come up with.
unfortunately, the important part isn't in focus.
