After picking up small tires from PaB I decided to create a bowl of sliced olives. This is the reason I bought the planet set in the first place. :P

Quilted but unbound, never got a finished shot before it went to its new home! I bound it in that zig zaggy orange print, it looked really neat! Blogged here: sleepytimesewing.blogspot.com/2011/06/sliced-coins-quilta...

Yay egg slicer! It wasn't until recently that I finally got fed up with my hard boiled egg yolks falling out of my eggs when slicing them with a knife. Finally got an egg slicer. So much better.
Pumpkin Fruitcake made by the customer.
Inspired by Andrea's Sweetcakes with permission (http://www.flickr.com/photos/25863947@N05/4138515789/in/photostream/)
INGREDIENTS
250g packet Malt ‘O’ Milk Biscuits
125g butter
1/2 can (200g) sweetened condensed milk
125g liquorice allsorts, chopped into small pieces
[I followed recipe but next time I would add half again and chop not so small]
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons butter, melted
2-3 tablespoons hot water
METHOD
Crush the biscuits in a food processor or with a rolling pin until fine crumbs.
Place the biscuits in a bowl and pour in melted butter and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well and then add the liquorice allsorts.
Press the mixture into a 30cm long rectangular slice pan and allow to set before icing with chocolate icing.
To make the icing, combine icing sugar, cocoa, butter and hot water in a bowl and mix until smooth.

slice of bread , the yellowness is caused by the fluorescent low energy light bulb in the kitchen , though this is less yellow than the jpeg off the camera !!!!
I'm still coming down off a high from eating this pizza... stick with me here:
Start with a good dough. Sprinkle with a touch of fresh ground pepper, then a -light- dusting of paprika and curry powder, with a light sprinkle of cumin seed. Lay on some good provolone. Top lightly with a good suace... nice, smooth, with a little bite, a little tang. Then? Then comes the bacon. Yes, bacon. Uh huh, bacon.
It gets better.
Some thinly sliced garlic chips. Followed by some carmelized onions... which were then sauteed with the morels... in bacon fat (I know, right!?!). Lay it on with TLC.
Then crumble on the goat cheese. I'm getting woozy thinking about it. See the finished pic for the last of the ingredients...
