Sliced fruit - imaged in a 1900s Houghton Victo plate camera on glass with collodion - the Wetplate collodion process.

Don't let the friendly smile fool you. He is a sociopath that will cut you without the slightest compunction.
The actual smile is exactly 2 inches wide.
The bokeh teeth were a happy accident.
The water spots were an unhappy one.
This was an educational and engrossing challenge , I used the fishing line strung across a black box for each slice individually , then masked each one and then layered them ,used masks to layer each one individually onto a background that I had first created, along with the drops which was One drop I created and then using copy paste and transform moved it around in the image to create a pleasing composition.
