The sky and waters merge together to reflect Mononk Mountain House and its surrounding cliffs

Palm fronds and other tree debris in a slough off the Blue Springs Run, after the passage of Hurricane Ian. Shot at Blue Springs State Park in Orange City, Florida.

This is the clearest I have ever seen the water in Lake Ontario.

A few weeks into Autumn and I am still waiting for a blood sunset, and the way things are going I am going to be waiting a while It is either golden like this or clear blue boring sky

Back in my element I was hopeful for something special at sunset. It fizzed out, when I got there 15 minutes before sunset the water was like glass, as the sun started to quickly dip behind the mountains the slight ripples began to move across the ocean as quick as I could click trying to beat them, in a split second after this all reflections disappeared and the water became a grey blur mess. This was snapped just as the sun disappeared to the right (out of shot)

Summer Clouds and Grass - Sony A7S II, Holga Turret Lens

After a summer storm clears out over Corning, NY, the setting sun dips below the clouds and casts a beautiful reflection upon the still waters of the Chemung River.

I'd been waiting a while to capture a reflection shot of the sky in the solent from my balcony. Today was my first attempt. Quite pleased with the result.

One Bellevue Center is a cool building, but unfortunately the weather and light were not cooperating with my picture taking plans. Therefore, I decided to give a building abstract another go, having liked how my first attempt in Tacoma (view my "Overrepresentation" image for reference) panned out. The building had a really great silvery blue tint that I believed was perfect for this kind of image. For this capture I tried a slanted perspective and was really glad I did. This image is indicative of the type of patterns, colors, and architecture you can experience by experiencing Bellevue's buildings up close and personal. Enjoy!

Pretty St Georges Basin, photo taken at Kingfisher Park. the sunsets at this spot are right in your face, though there isn't a lot of foreground scenery unless you can snag a few birds or fisherman in boats. And of course I wasn't that lucky today.

Life doesn't get much better than this. My own little jetty where I can just chill out and not be bothered, It was a magical night watching the sunset. As long as I don't leave any foot prints in peoples backyards they don't mind me being on there private properties just chilling and doing my thing. Most of the time I never see anyone on these jetties. I am a very lucky girl to be blessed with such peace and beauty around me.

A re-edit of an old image, because I just love this light and those reflections!

Conditions were perfect last Friday evening at Our Lady's Island for some sunset photography. The lake was very still with little or no winds and nice high clouds illuminated by the setting sun, it was simply beautiful.

A vibrant sunset casts golden hues over Mission Bay in San Diego, California, with clouds painting the sky in soft, warm colors and silhouettes of trees framing the horizon.

A glimpse of Kalasatama Metro Station in Helsinki, captured straight out of the Canon 5D Mark II, untouched, no edits or retouches. The contrast between the cold, industrial lines of the metro architecture and the soft pink sky felt almost cinematic—a reminder that beauty often finds its way into the most unexpected places.

Norway is a place of endless natural beauty. Incredible fjords, winding small roads, raw tunnels carved through the bedrock and so much more. These images are from summer road trips during 2024.

Photo taken yesterday evening in Lauttasaari, Helsinki - Finland. We had a wonderfull evening with beautifull colors, so I had the enjoyable privilege of trying to capture the moment to my best ability.

The sky ignites over Northern Mindanao as the last rays of sunlight kiss the peaks, painting the heavens in gold and crimson.

I was frustrated to wake early this morning, as I'm off today, but then I glimpsed a hint of this gorgeousness out my bedroom window, scrambled for my camera, and sped for the river. I read sunrise photography tips while shoveling in my breakfast. Sadly, I don't yet own a tripod, but I've found that I like the ripples on the water to show anyway.

A beautiful evening spent down at Black Nap Saltwick Bay, Its a pain in the arse to get to when the tide is in but when you get light like this its very much worth it.

It was also nice to have the company of my mum Lennie who enjoyed herself but wreaked her work shoes. (Sorry mother x )

Just before night falls, a bicycle rests, the horizon glows, and the day quietly says goodbye.

Перед наступлением ночи велосипед отдыхает, горизонт светится, и день тихо прощается.

If you leave me now,

you'll take away the biggest part of me

No baby please don't go

If you leave me now,

you'll take away the very heart of me

No baby please don't go

A love like ours is love that's hard to find

How could we let it slip away

We've come too far to leave it all behind

How could we end it all this way

When tomorrow comes we'll both regret

Things we said today

Cause I need you more than you'll ever know
