I shot this in December, 1991, on Fujichrome using a Pentax K1000 SE camera, with an SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2.0 lens.

No.... I wasn't standing on my head, and I swear I haven't rotated the shot ... this is the reflection in the waters of Lost Lagoon! (You can see one little twig sticking up from the ground, on the lower left)

We've had so much rain - when I saw a patch of blue sky reflected in the water, I got so excited I almost fell in!

This part in Abbotsford is mostly known as a "dark-sky preserve" for its lack of external light pollution at night. During the day, it is a great picnic and birding spot.

Pre-dawn, the best time to wander the streets of Rome.

The building in the foreground is the top of the Chicago Opera Building.

This weeks theme required two images. Image 1....An Autumn (Fall) or Halloween theme. Here in the West Midlands there is little interest in Halloween so Autumn it had to be. This for me depicts our Autumn..lots of grey, lots of water with a splash of Autumn colours :-)

Taken in Autumn earlier this year.This is another one I salvaged from the bin. It is my favorite time of year for sunsets, and when the clouds are just right with a hint of bushfire smoke in the mix and the cool air rising from the southern ocean as we slowly head into the winter months, the light show doesn't get any better than this I have even seen green in the skies pastel palette. The sunsets here are some of the best I have ever seen. Every day I watch from my kitchen window waiting for that hint of colour that has me grabbing my gear and running out the door. I am literally two minutes from the shore by car. And I am truly blessed to be able to enjoy this everyday As long as God has his paint brush handy you can be sure I will be somewhere in the west watching.

Another image of Echo Lake evening reflections and with some ducks swimming. This was taken a bit earlier than the one I previously posted. I 'almost' feel guilty in being able to sit/stand at one spot and have the scene constantly changing.

So simple but with no real focal points these types of pics are pretty boring even if the sunset colours are pretty. I really like the smooth silky motion effect..

Looking over a lovely calm Loch Arkaig towards the knoydart hills.

These reflections were of broken branches in the water. It shows the branch, then the reflection as well as the clouds in the sky.
