Seen from below, glass and sky merge into an almost weightless architecture. The crane house’s reflective façade throws back the image of its own forms, while the white fades outward like mist into nothingness.

Twenty minutes earlier it was totally overcast and raining.
Away up west for a couple of weeks :)
This is the beautiful, highly glazed city of Vancouver. The reflection top right reminds me of a robot!! If it were a robot it would have been behind me which would have been a little scary!!:)
Hosmer Lake is in the central Cascade Range in Oregon about 20 miles west-southwest of Bend. The lake has large areas full of reeds with a riverlike path winding through it. Kayaking there, these red lily pads floating in the sky's reflections caught my eye.
Autumn, also known as Fall in North American English, is one of the four temperate seasons. Outside the tropics, autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere). Autumn is the season when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. Day length decreases and night length increases as the season progresses until the Winter Solstice in December (Northern Hemisphere) and June (Southern Hemisphere). One of its main features in temperate climates is the striking change in colour for the leaves of deciduous trees as they prepare to shed.
Although colour change in leaves occurs wherever deciduous trees are found, coloured autumn foliage is noted in various regions of the world: most of North America, Eastern Asia (including China, Korea, and Japan), Europe, southeast, south and part of the midwest of Brazil, the forest of Patagonia, eastern Australia and New Zealand's South Island.
Eastern Canada and New England are famous for their autumnal foliage, and this attracts major tourism (worth billions of US dollars) for the regions.
This photo was taken almost a year ago in Ohio. When I looked at the scene before I took the photo, I was fascinated by the natural Christmas look and feel it had...
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS - MAY THE SPIRIT OF THIS HOLIDAY REIGN PEACE IN US ALL.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY PHOTO STREAM AND THE ENCOURAGING COMMENTS ALL THROUGHOUT 2013!
I could not resist when I saw the scene going on I75 to stop the car, unfold my camera, set up my tripod and shoot this scene. I don't think the photo even do justice to the scene and how the sun, skyline and clouds effects went across it.
This scene feels like the holiday season, Christmas and it is so cheerful in colors.
Thanks for viewing this photo!!

a grid of steel frames the mediterranean blue, where the clouds drift lazily, unaware of their confinement. sunlight dances below, casting its twin in perfect geometry—a moment of order in a chaotic world.
How many insects can you see?
I saw none when I shot this.
It always amazes me when I see the scene enlarged on my computer.
This was taken at the local lagoon where I usually search out shorebirds and not insects.
