Still processing images from Hawaii. Every evening was a photographic adventure. I never knew what would happen just after the sun dropped into the ocean. I got used to hanging around for the color show.
While boating looking for a different capture I found and loved the combination of the electricity lines, the sky and the clouds and "voila".
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜
Here was North Yatsugatake in Japan.
Mt. Tateshina (2,520m) was seen from the mountaintop of Mt. Kitayokodake (2,472m).
A strong wind blew that day. The mountain range in the distance was Japan North Alps.

A very BIG stick in the mud!!
Thanks so much for looking. Your comments and likes are always greatly appreciated!
A more utilitarian view of beach life. These Sand Fences catch the sand and replenish the all important barrier dunes. These fences have been installed east west so as to build up and replenish the dunes during highly destructive Nor'Easters. The subtle light on the fences is what really attracted me to this view. As usual, the nuance of the light only comes through in the light box. Thanks for the visit and have a Large Thursday.
It’s a alpine lake and the color of the lake it’s emerald color. Altitude 1519m. Thank you for stopping by!!
A shot taken nearby Tierbergli mountain cabine with some sort of Doronicum (yellow flowers) in the foreground and the glacier (Steingletscher) in the background. Doronicum plants usually grow above 2000 m altitude. In the shot they show a nice contrast to the "dead" and cold glacial landscape.
There was only a very short time slot to take pictures with anything else than just fog in the frame. From this point of view, the trip up there was somehow disappointing. I was hopping for some nice nightscape photographs but the clouds and fog endured until next morning. The view would otherwise be quite breathtaking...Nonetheless the amazing hiking trail to the cabine was worth the effort!
