The Pyrenees (/ˈpɪrɨniːz/; Spanish: Pirineos or Pirineo, French: Pyrénées, Aragonese: Perinés, Catalan: Pirineus, Occitan: Pirenèus, Basque: Pirinioak or Auñamendiak) is a range of mountains in southwest Europe that forms a natural border between France and Spain. It separates the Iberian Peninsula from the rest of continental Europe, and extends for about 491 km (305 mi) from the Bay of Biscay (Cap Higuer) to the Mediterranean Sea (Cap de Creus).
For the most part, the main crest forms a massive divider between France and Spain, with the small country of Andorra sandwiched in between. The Crown of Aragon and the Kingdom of Navarre have historically extended on both sides of the mountain range, with smaller northern portions now in France and larger southern parts now in Spain.[1][2]
The demonym for the noun "Pyrenees" in English is Pyrenean.
A very cold day to ski (-27C), but superb conditions and no crowd made it worth braving the frigid weather.

This afternoon out for nordic ski ... lots of snow ... the photo is out of the camera no retouching .. better at large scale
It has no sidecut or rocker but it's probably the most fun way to get around a snow covered planet.
It's been a hectic start to the ski season and a busy holiday period in Verbier. Things are a little calmer now, so I've a bit more time to devote to Lego activities. I'm also storing up builds for my favourite month: Febrovery!.

Who knew that the best part of learning to ski would be the view from the chairlift?
This is Prima Dolly Cassis, wearing Ice Rune’s stock outfit and Barbie skis for the theme “Go skiing” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The chairlift is from Target. I have no idea what purpose it was intended for, or how other people use it…could it be anything else but a doll picture prop?
