Decided to ask people at my favorite place if they wanted a picture. Of course they said yes. Shout out Mount Baker
I'm a bit behind with posting my images I've taken. Today I went out skiing after watching Olympic games. Loved the winter-dress trees. Will post day 52-54 soon. Day 55/364.

This is the view from the Urabandai Ski Resort. On the right is the butterfly pattern, Grandeco, and Mount Nishiazuma, which I posted the other day. On the left is the frozen Lake Hibara.

A clever and colorful fence made of water ski's. It looks like the owner is adding to it. My impression is that I think the owner is young at heart, colorful, likes whimsy, and likes to have fun. Someone I would like to meet. When traveling up and down Hwy. 35, there are pockets of small artist colonies.
My good neighbors across the street are incredibly talented people who have transformed an old barn into the nicest workshop / man-cave I have seen. Among his many hobbies, Frank restores old snowmobiles including several 60's era ski-doos similar to some he used on a ranch when he was a kid. He and his wife, Heidi, have had relatives visiting who have been riding the old machines in a field next door. Obviously, they have been having a lot of fun.
We were climping top of the mountain called Konttainen. Opposite was Ruka and ski jumping tower. Wind turbines was right side, good thing...
It's been a very dry winter here in Utah but relief is on the way. It started snowing in the mountains today and it looks like we might have a solid day of storm skiing, tomorrow. I sure wouldn't mind a repeat of this storm day from last January.
