A bit pricey for one wing per skewer, but it takes real skill to evenly grill the fatty and unevenly shaped wing.
We met Jeannette and Nicole at the XinJiang hotel for lunch. This is reputedly the best XinJiang food in Beijing. It lived up to the billing.
Got some chicken skin, some chicken liver, some soft knee bone, some gizzard, schmaltz, and the like.
I meant to leave this private and just add it in a comments box but I'll leave it up now I accidentally uploaded it public.
I had to use my Dremel to shorted the skewers to fit in the electric wok. Scissors might have worked to but...
The chicken satay was a succes, :OD Very tasty. I'll make this again.
For each skewer:
2 Mushrooms, washed
2 strips of bacon
3 rings from a sliced onion
Wrap the mushrooms in bacon.
Put them on a pointy stick with onions
Put it on a foil sheet, in the oven, around 300 degrees.
cook until bacon is ready
