This sketch actually motivated me to watch the anime series "Neon Genesisi Evangelion", that this character appeared in, excellent! this is 1 of the most detailed sketches i have ever created.

This is one of my favorite sketches. Each stroke is seperate but they make a whole and It probably took me two hundred pen and ink sketches to get to this and now I'm not quite in practice.

A small study from a bust of a laughing girl in the Kelvingrove museum and a few notes from class.

The guards will not let me sketch. Many people, therefore no stationary in front of the works, nor standing in a corner, no leaning against the wall ... I managed to sketch a little in the middle of all these heads, the guide who speaks with passion (the interpretation is very very free on the reproduction of paintings by Caravaggio ... I can not do everything together at that stage). The exhibition was great.

It's a very simple sketch that my mum turned into the amazing embroidery over here:

doodles in pen done in the workroom - it was late & my husband wanted company while he made some necessary adjustments, a good opportunity for low-commitment sketching practice
