sharpie sketch of Spidey Noir packing some heat for the baddies! I'm emphasizing the GUN in this one. Enjoy!
This is a milestone drawing. This drawing is the first drawing I ever made that I actually felt satisfied with. I felt it actually looked like what I wanted it to look like! Yay!
I drew this from a comic book drawing of Spiderman made by Mark Bagley. I have always admired his art style and admittedly more often than not, when drawing comic book characters I try to imitate his style.
One of the things I really love about sketches in general is the way they – by necessity of time, circumstance, and place – seem to become a sort of shorthand for much more complex ideas and details. I’ve always appreciated the brevity some artists have, the way they can coerce a single line into speaking volumes, into communicating so much. Very occasionally I’ll see a hint of that evident in one of my sketches, but more frequently than not they’re just amused scribblings of the moment.
This year, I created a series of illustrations for a static theme downloadable for PlayStation3 and PSP called Beyond Reality. Here you can have a look at my sketches.
Recently i have been sketching on tracing paper it's so much better because pencils work well on it and the pen doesn't make it go all bumpy like paper does!
When it's not raining i am gonna paint this!
I know I'm boring. Just a few more quick drawings of one of my cats good practice for getting things down quickly.
Trying to learn how to shade my Zentangles. If you have pointers or tips, please feel free to share them with me. (The shading looks a lot darker in my sketch pad than it does in this scan.)

Going through some old shots and liked the layout of this shot. As with the Sketch effect used on the RX2 in my stream i decided to use a similar PP with this to try and make it look like a drawing. i think it turned out ok...
Something different anyway.
5" x 7" | Ink with Digital Colour | This is a sketch of the former Canary Restaurant on Cherry Street at Front Street East in Toronto. The building had a long history as a school and a hotel before becoming a diner in 1965. It has also served as a backdrop for many movies filmed in the area.
