Some hand drawn type development. I love the top one - obviously it wasn't suitable for a flyer encouraging children to use the park because it looks like that bit in Snow White but I plan to use the idea for something eventually.

'My World'

On these two pages, I began exploring my icons for my 'my world' project and wanted to develop this through my own images. I took inspiration of one of my icons 'Ash Stymest' and composed a shoot with my friend in the style of. I then developed these images by sketching and creating 3 developments, one with ink and water on tracing paper, the other with ink and pencils on cartridge paper and the other with watercolour on the page behind.

I had a craving for really bad Chinese food. I knew the perfect place and low and behold, it also happened to be where a group of older Chinese gentlemen gathered to play a form of Chinese chess. A lot of good natured posturing and bravado were exhibited by this group of men.
