Top right... fascinated by arrows at some point... I have pages and pages of them before I had enough.
Bottom left... practicing lines.
Bottom right, knife wielding... hmmm don't remember why.
'Aspects Of Industry'
These two pages of my sketchbook are examples of development work using different media of a photograph I took of a factory window. On the left page, I created the development firstly by cutting the image in half and switching the sides around before layering with cardboard, black tissue paper, newspaper, wood, white emulsion and black spray paint.
On the right hand page is a development using cardboard to express the lines of the window before layering with blue tissue paper, original photographs, bleach, white paint and black spray paint using an experimental technique.

This is my new sketchbook started in july during my holidays at Tremiti Islands (Italy).
I liked trying to draw people down the (trasparent) water.
I drew tis shortly before work today from the south face of Swallowfield All Saints church. The church is in a lovely position away from the road.
Swallowfield Church was built by Sir John Le Despencer, in 1256. He had to obtain specially permission from the Pope for its erection. It appears to be much restored although it retains some character and charm, two old Norman doors in evidence.
Mary Russell Mitford, the author of 'Our Village' is buried in the north-east corner of the churchyard
Sketchbook pages that I did at @SPACE_CON. I've got a few more & will post them as I clean them up. This one is out of my hand made bristol sketchbook. I've decided not to make comics in sketchbooks anymore. It's too much of a pain in the neck to scan them properly. I've been using a different process for a long while now.
Selection from sketchbook of exercises done, scribbles and workings out.
