This is my actual first page for sketchbook skool. Danny Gregory teaching.... sketch daily, straight pen (no pencil, boo!). Pretty rough sketch! Trying out various pens we bought to play with too.

We teamed up with Bryony and Armin from Under Consideration to produce custom Scout Books for their Brand New Conference taking place today in New York.

These Scout Books are a terrific example of the power of overprinting. Two colors of ink combine to create a variety of tones, making for an fun and useful conference giveaway.

These are the three sketchbooks that I use. The Canson one I've had for a while (hence all the stickers!) Random sketches, marker drawings, experiments in there. My red moleskine sketch is my newest travel sketchbook. Love the paper. And the one in back? Just some cheap sketchbook I bought at Walgreens maybe back in highschool or something. I use it to sketch and rip out so I can trace over. It's cheap, I wouldn't buy it again though since it doesn't open easily without getting caught. But eh, it's been around for a while so I'm hoping to use all the paper up!
