Pencil sketch with a touch of peach prismacolor

Bears make me laugh. Especially bear buddies, one's a happy fat bear and the other is a solemn pessimistic bear.

A quick sketch from back in 1991.

I'm amazed how I managed to capture her expression with just a few lines.

Based on the plague doctor mask in my German 2009 set, I drew this the day after I saw it in the museum in Berlin.

Another composite storyboard of a short trip ashore in Alesund. A primary school perched on a rock; some interesting stairs affording a perspective challenge; rooftops; a view out to the North sea over the town from the observatory; and an older lady standing by a railing.

Landscape sketch I drew on a week long skiing trip to a national park in Lapland.

"I look at you looking at me,

Now I know why the best things are free,

How you've changed my world

You'll never know,

I'm different now,

You've helped me grow..."

As for technic:

So, this effect is called Bromoil:

Bromoil effect:

1.Duplicate background 4 times.

- first duplicated layer -dry brush filtr 2-7-1

-second duplicated layer - colored pencil 3-12-50 - soft light blending

-third duplicated layer - find edges - overlay

- fourth duplicated layer -accented edges 3-30-3

2. hue-saturation adjustment layer ( lower saturation or try colorize mode)

3. Curves adjustment layer

4. Solid color adjustment layer-color mode blending

5. play with opacity of layers

6. Add canvas texture.

7. Flatten all the layers and admire result!

Hope you would like it!
