I don't think I've ever heard one singing in the garden before. This was out in the woods and at the top of his voice! Looks half asleep at the same time.

I am fascinated by singing time. They sit on their little mats and sing (or
listen to the teachers sing) songs. They wave around little shakers or
stars on sticks or other props. It is very cute!
This little angel is part of the decoration of the Marcussen Organ in the Schleswig cathedral. No question it is excellently crafted – but every time I’m watching these figures I can’t decide whether to find them cute or spooky.

I went fishing one evening, and although I didn’t really catch anything, I was serenaded by a choir of toads. They descended from the foliage down to the water’s edge shortly after sunset where they began chirping, singing and chasing one another. There were maybe a dozen off them hopping around my feet. By the time I was done photographing toads, I didn't realize how dark it had gotten. It was an interesting hike back to the car to say the least. As you can see by the photo, these guys didn't mind hamming it up for the camera.
