Patients and families had an up close opportunity to see the animals at the L.A. Zoo thanks to Munchkin Inc.
Munchkin, Inc., maker of clever and innovative baby products, was the catalyst for helping the night come to life at the LA Zoo. As the presenting sponsor Munchkin underwrote the cost of the event with a significant gift, dedicated their employee volunteers to help run the evening and, abiding by their motto “it’s the little things”, provided wonderful gift bags full of Munchkin products to every family. Following Munchkin’s generous example, additional funds were raised through donations and sponsorships. These contributions will benefit both Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.

Well, I never felt more like singin' the blues
'cause I never thought that I'd ever lose
Your love dear, why'd you do me this way?
Well, I never felt more like cryin' all night
'cause everythin's wrong, and nothin' ain't right
Without you, you got me singin' the blues.

I was singing harmony on this song, and during the guitar solo, I thought I'd take a selfie with the guitarist (who was soloing). I didn't realize that he even noticed, but apparently he did.
A New Guinea singing dog. Like the Dingo, it is a feral sub-species of a domestic dog. The name comes from its wide variety of vocal sounds, including a long wailing howl that sounds surprisingly like a whale song.

**Urgent singing lessons needed at the Cliffs of Noop Head**
*****************************************
I went back to Noop head some cliffs in the evening, I wondered down from the lighthouse towards the cliff edge with are impressive sheer drops. Suddenly I heard some really bad singing. I thought oh somehow there must be a way down to the rocks at the bottom of the cliffs. The bad singing continued so I lay on my belly to peer over the cliff edge?It was a sheer drop with no way down, what I saw though was about a hundred seals on the rocks below, they were the bad singing culprits, I tried shouting down
Hey you're a bit flat mate.
but it was too far for them to hear me so I gazed down the cliff at the birds flying around listening to the haunting(?) sounds of the seals below, and yes of course puffins turned up flying about a metre in front of my face.
I think I heard these two sea lions singing- "By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea! You and me, you and me, oh how happy we'll be..." :)
