Archibald Sinclair was the Liberal leader between 1935 and 1945. Between 1922 and 1945 he was the Liberal MP for Caithness and Sutherland (a seat he lost in the 1945 General Election). He held various cabinet positions and chaired the Scottish equivalent of Land Committee, which wrote the Liberal 'Tartan Book' proposing Scottish devolution. The Sinclair C5 was a massively unpopular electric car developed by Sinclair Research, makers of the ZX Spectrum (the first computer I ever used). It was released in the mid-1980s and failed, partly because it was an idea ahead of its time, but mainly because it wasn't very good.
One of its many problems was that it was so low to the ground that people driving in cars often couldn't see it... kind of like going into traffic sitting on a skateboard. Subsequent versions attempted to remedy this by attaching a long pole to the back of the vehicle, to which a flag could be affixed (seriously).
Anyway I was very excited to see this one on display outside a design store in Omotesando. They're quite rare, for pretty obvious reasons.
John Taylor shared this picture of a former Sinclair gas station that now houses Raymond's Paint Store at the corner of Kenan Street and Raleigh Road.
A nightscape by the Sinclair Centre.
This is a beautifully restored complex located in Vancouver's "heritage" district which was made by joining a number of neighbouring buildings together.
There are many high end shops and a number of federal government offices inside but unfortunately most of those shops are way out of my price range.
The clock you see in the photo is the old Birks Jewelers clock famous for being used as a downtown meeting place.

Printed text on back: "The Dinosaur Exhibit built by the Sinclair Refining Company at the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago is the first attempt to recreate out-of-doors a portion of the earth's surface as it existed 100 million years ago. The huge beast shown on this card is a Brontosaurus. He bulked 40 tons in life and was 70 feet long."

Clive Sinclair thought this could replace the car. Yeah, right...! Taken at Llandudno transport festival, 2007.
Of the Puget sound. Many birds out here. The large bird on the tree on the upper right was one of a pair of bald eagles.
Christine Sinclair completes her hat trick with this headed goal putting Canada into a 3-2 lead. The US girls came back to win the game 4-3 in the last minute of extra time! Great game!
