Sir Clive Sinclair's C5 mini car, introduced in 1985 never became established as personal transport for the able bodied but his concept of a small electrically powered vehicle for one person gave rise to the mobility scooter for the disabled. This C5 is displayed in Glasgow's Riverside Museum.

This machine was supplied by "The Centre for Computing History" who are a computer museum that is based in Haverhill, Suffolk near Cambridge.

The Library hosted an exhibit, titled "The Chicago Freedom Movement" with photographs by Bernard Kleina of Dr. Martin Luther King and other civil rights leaders involved in the Chicago Freedom Movement of 1965 and 1966.
