Sometimes feel that the far North East of Scotland is written off for landscape photographers but the light up there is so different and those vast flat landscapes are so much of a challenge. I found myself paying so much more attention to the wildlife, the bird song, which was beautiful and the distant figures working the land which remain enigmatic until you get closer.

I was inspired by another photographer here in KC to take some shots of old signs. I never realized how great sign shots can be.
West Branch, Iowa - The birthplace of Herbert Hoover. This building was first a bank in 1910 then the post office before being converted to Virgil's Sinclair.
My Sinclair C5, found it lurking in my shed! Been there for a while, time to make it work for a charity bike ride. I know it's not a bike but, it's for charity!!
Motor is shot, no chain, no battery and inner tubes and tyres are shot.
Could be an interesting ride from the Malvern Hills Hotel, round the hills to the Malvern Rugby Club. Sounds fun, almost all down hill. Just discovered the front brake is rubbish and the rear pulls you to the middle of the road!

Former Union 76 Gasoline Station now a Sinclair Gasoline Station and Food Mart located in Long Beach on Orange and Wardlow.
Recently convered into a Sinclair Station.
Sinclair began as "Parco" in the 1920's. "Parco" stood for "Producer's And Refiner's CO". The company town was designed and completed in 1925 but by 1942, the oil refining had been sold to Sinclair Oil and the town changed it's name in 1942.
I wonder if they made toy versions of this...
I replaced this. Rescanned and recropped (I cut out all the credit card information) and slightly cleaner. If I try to clean it up anymore, I might cut off Dino's head.
