This is a simulation which I hope to replace with something real. It shows what the annular eclipse will look like from Vancouver Canada.
Bugao Xu, a professor in the Program of Textiles and Apparel in the School of Human Ecology of UT Austin, has been working to develop technology that will enable true virtual dressing rooms, where you can "try on" clothes on an accurate 3-D model of yourself.
This illustration is from a paper in which Xu and his colleague Yueqi Zhong simulated the physical prop- erties of fabric and adaptive sewing forces to wrap a pattern around a human model to form a virtual garment.
Simulation day at #CityCollegeFTL! We conducted a scenario involving a mass casualty situation with five victims, in which students from several programs participated. The results were outstanding! The medical assisting students came to the aide of one victim and called the EMS team to take over. The most severe patient was taken to the operating room for surgery, with the anesthesia and surgical technology students. Amazing work was done by our students.

In this exercise, the students discover a problem in the patient's care, and roleplay the necessary communication skills to resolve the problem and prevent its reoccurrence.

This is a only a simulation of radar target detection made by me beaming sound waves! For this I use only a pulse of low sound frequency toward a target (works like a transmiter) and I received back the echoes in a electret microphone located just in the focos of parabolic dish. In reality this dish isn't parabolic but espheroid one and that I found it's not so good . It is possible see the echos in a audio spectrometer like this. This works like a sonar, the difference between radar is that it beams sounds besides radiowaves.

Ph.D. Innovation Program candidate Preston Manwaring aims to create a technology that will allow a doctor to administrate a drug and visualize what is directly going on inside the head.
He conducted experiments to simulate brain activity with this in mind, and using computer software, he later watches the results in live time.

Plant Simulation provides a lockout zone object that allows discrete-event simulation models to observe and manage the failures of a group of stations or machines. The lockout zone displays a model state of "stopped” when at least one station in the lockout zone has failed.

Epidural Anaesthesia simulation model. ESA prize 2016. The complex skills involved with administering epidurals, such as locating optimal insertion point and needle angle, can only be learned by practice. However it can be dangerous for novice anaesthetists to practice their first epidural procedure on real patients. This simulator provides a training scenario whereby novice anaesthetists can practice needle insertions and visualise bony structures.
