Simplicity 5203; ©1972; Simple-To-Sew Young Junior/Teens' and Misses Jumper in Two Lengths with Neckline Interest: (Including a Tissue Lesson Chart ... "How-To Apply Neckline Facings"). The jumper has back zipper closing and optional purchased belt. V. 1 & 2 have top-stitched, patch pockets with button trimmed flaps. Mini length V. 1 has high round neckline. Ankle length V. 2 has "U" shaped neckline. Mini length V. 3 with square neckline features top-stitching and button trim.

Boy's and Men's Trousers of shorts and raglan-sleeve knit top.
Fabrics: A and B (top) are sized for stretch knits only: Cotton Interlock, Jerseys, Lightweight Double Knits, Velour, Two Way Stretch.
C and D (Trousers and shorts): Flannel, Laundered Cottons, Baby Cord, Batiks, Broadcloth, Chambray, Pinwale Corduroy and the knit fabcics listed for the top.
Adult size: S (34-36), M (38-40), L (42-44) XL (46-48).
Sewing Pattern Reviews like it but suggest extending the kangaroo pocket to the hem for a tidier look.

Simplicity Pattern 7805 Vintage 60s Designer Fashion Coat Dress, dated 1967. This includes; The lined coat-dress with front button closing has an A-line skirt, empire waistline, collar, set-in sleeves, back pleat and belt with button trim. Double-breasted V. 1 & 2 have flaps. V. 1 has long sleeves and contrasting detachable collar. V. 2 & 3 have short sleeves. V. 3 has a welt and self fabric loop and button closing.
Simplicity 8533; ©1969; The poncho with round neckline and loop and hook at back neck opening is stitched at underarms forming opening for arms. The mini skirt and pants have elastic waistline casing. The poncho and pants may be trimmed with lace edging or with fringe. If you prefer, the skirt and poncho may be trimmed with braid.

Made using Simplicity 2975 and Nicey Jane fabric. Green is Kona Cotton, but I can't remember the name... The pattern ran a little small for me. Be sure and measure your hips before you cut into your fabric!
shortening the dress was a very good move. it goes a long way towards making it not look like a housedress. i'm kind of undecided about whether or not i like it. perhaps after washing, it'll drape better. i love the fabric though.

Vintage 1964 Simplicity sewing pattern 5642. Misses One-Piece and Two-Piece Dress in Proportioned Sizes. V. 1 dress is styled with a square neckline and tie collar, long set-in sleeves and a back zipper closing. V. 2 top is similar to dress but shorter. The slim skirt with darts and side zipper joins a waistband.
