Simplicity 5910; ©1965; Teens', Juniors' and Misses' One-Piece Dress: The A line dress has round neckline, back zipper. Rick-rack trimmed V. 1 has long set-in sleeves, neck and sleeve ruffles. Sleeveless V. 2 has neck ruffle faced with contrasting fabric. V. 3 has short set-in sleeves, collar, ribbon bow. A "Mother & Daughter" fashion, for Daughter see Simplicity 5902.
Simplicity 9170; ©1970; Misses' and Women's Dress or Tunic and Pants: The dress V. 1 and 2 or tunic V. 3 with front zipper and high round neckline have set-in sleeves. V. 1 and 3 have contrasting, button trimmed front band and collar. V. 1 with patch pockets has button trimmed contrasting flaps and cuffs. V. 1 and 2 have below elbow length sleeves. Collarless V. 2 with top-stitching has patch pockets and purchased belt. V. 3 has short sleeves. The pants V. 3 have elastic waistline casing.
Made from blue corduroy print. I added a cotton "lining" - not a true lining, but made by just sandwiching two pieces together and sewing as one. I was really surprised at how well this went together.
Simplicity 2927, a Project Runway pattern. Made with 100% organic cotton from Bishopston Trading. I dyed the grey myself, using Dylon "Antique Grey" over the unbleached fabric.

S5023 1972 The bodysuits with snap fastened crotch has elastic at leg edges. V1, 2 and 3 have back zipper. V1 , 2 and 4 have set in sleeves. V1 and 3 have roll collar. V1 has long sleeves. Collarless V2 features button trimmed long sleeves with slit openings. Sleeveless V3 has cut in armholes. V4 with short sleeves has pointed collar, and front opening fastened with eyelets and lacing.

Rick-rack trimmed V. 1 without side seams has squared neckline and armholes and contrasting heart shaped pocket trimmed with "Love" applique. V. 2 with tie ends stitched in front darts has cobbler pockets and lowered round neckline.
The panties, cut in two pieces, have a set-in crotch. Lower edges are bound or finished with lace. Buttons close the left side opening. The bloomers, cut in two pieces, are finished at the upper front with bias facing and the back is fitted with elastic. Buttons close the left side.

It is so hard to take your own photo in a mirror, hold the camera steady. I make such odd faces trying to do all three.

This pendant necklace is made out of a hand-hammered solid sterling silver disc, domed and suspended from antiqued sterling silver cable chain. Nestled in the cup of the disc is a single, imperfect freshwater coin pearl.
All components have then been gently oxidized for personality and depth, and as one-of-a-kind pieces, each will vary slightly from the item pictured.

Please be sure to take note of the sizes that are carefully listed here as items will appear larger on your computer monitor than they actually are.
* The disc is about 16mm (5/8") in diameter, and hang about 1" from the cable chain.
* Antiqued sterling silver cable chain is available in 16" or 18" lengths. Please specify upon ordering.

This orchid was given to me by my daughter about 7-8 years ago, and has never had a bloom. I am so excited that it has finally produced the most amazing flowers at last!
This photo is for my new project 'simplicity'. I almost finished it after a weekend full of hard work. I'm pretty happy with it. :) But I might want to shoot some more photos with a different model.
