Fabrics: Laundered Cottons, Batiks, Chambray, Lightweight Denim, Challis, Laundered Silks/Rayons, Soft Lightweight Linen and Linen Blends.

Misses' and women's one-piece dress and detachable collar and cuffs: A wide pointed collar accents V neckline. Kimono sleeves may be short or three quarter length. Graceful skirt is softly pleated at front waistline. Welts trim collar and cuffs, view 2, are trimmed with bias of dress fabric.
14 pattern pieces.
Suggested fabrics: V1 - Cotton, gingham, pique, linen, broadcloth, cotton tweet, rayon, surah, shantung, wool. V2 - Cotton, voile, dotted swiss, pique, linen, cotton tweed, rayon, shantung, taffeta, crepe. Detachable collar and cuffs - Cotton, pique, linen, rayon.
Boy's and Men's Trousers of shorts and raglan-sleeve knit top.
Fabrics: A and B (top) are sized for stretch knits only: Cotton Interlock, Jerseys, Lightweight Double Knits, Velour, Two Way Stretch.
C and D (Trousers and shorts): Flannel, Laundered Cottons, Baby Cord, Batiks, Broadcloth, Chambray, Pinwale Corduroy and the knit fabcics listed for the top.

Sewing Pattern Reviews like it but suggest extending the kangaroo pocket to the hem for a tidier look.

S7988 1968 The underlined dress with A line skirt has empire waistline, back zipper closing, sweetheart V neckline and dart fitted lined bodice. For smoother, more comfortable fit, purchased bra cups may be sewn into bodice. Embroidered eyelet edging trimmed V2 with contrasting bodice has bias skirt and ribbon bow.
This dress is a step-in or coat dress with a bias roll collar, bodice, bias midriff and skirt with pleat below double breasted front button closing. Short set-in sleeves or sleeveless. Copyright on this pattern is 1969.

Misses' Maternity Tunic and Pants. The pants have adjustable, elastic waistline casing. The top-stitched tunic V.1 & 2 with front zipper has stand-up collar, patch pockets and short set-in sleeves. the tunic V.3, 4 & 5 with back zipper has short set-in sleeves. V.1 is trimmed with purchased frogs. V.3 & 5 are collarless. V.3 has belt stitched in dart seams. V.4 features top-stitched contrasting collar and button trimmed tab made of pants fabric. V.5 has ribbon tie belt.
Simplicity 8356; ©1969; Misses' Jacket or Sleeveless Jacket, Jumper and Pants: The top-stitched, sleeveless and collarless jumper with pleated skirt stitched to bodice in a lowered waistline seam has slightly lowered round neckline and back zipper. The lined, collarless jacket made either sleeveless or with long set-in sleeves has front princess seaming, "V" neckline, front button closing, pleat in center back seam and welts. The pants have side zipper and waistband.
