New road signs have been introduced in the Netherlands since mid-2012 with a white border near the edge of the signs to make them better visible for color blind people.

This sign, warning that my hotel contains chemicals, cancer causing, wasn't on the front of the building, but on one random entrance in the back of the building...I'd think if you have to post such a sign wouldn't it be smart to require it to be posted at least at the main entrance?

This wrought-iron contraption fixed to the wall probably was used to hang a guild/trade sign from, they can still be seen all over Vienna on houses dating from 1900 and older. This one is in my street.
It's so nice when they put out a welcome sign!

The chiefs aboard the nuclear-powered guided-missile submarine USS Ohio (SSGN 726) sign Christmas cards to be sent to other chiefs serving in the Middle East on Individual Augmentee assignments. The chiefs also sent gourmet coffee and cards to help heighten the morale of some junior Sailors serving in the Middle East for the holidays.
The apartment building next door has a fallout shelter from the 50s intact. The property management left it in place as a cool throwback.
Roger bought a 10Ha island (Ile Roger) at one point and introduced some 10 Aye Aye's to the island. Now it's known as Aye Aye island and it's the easiest place to find and see wild Aye Aye's in Madagascar.
Roger is a friendly helpful man, who also runs the Chez Roger hotel in Mananara. They also have a great cook!

This sign often gets missed on the ride due to the tree branches grown out of control, this was taken in the rides second season
kinda blew out the processing so you could see the silhouettes of the dog and the cat better :) it's a metal sign and catches the eye, for sure. may try this again and see if i can get it clearer.

I was travelling from Missouri to Colorado when the blizzard hit and wound up being stranded in Garden City Kansas for three days until the roads reopened.
There was quite an intense ice storm in Garden City and everything was coated in a thick layer of ice.
This is a sign near where I was staying.
I was lucky to get a hotel room (many people were stuck on on the road or in very small towns). For two of the three days that I was stuck, there was no power.
