My favourite sign ever I think. Hard to tell in this shot, but those greenish marks are actually lichen. It's so old I have no idea what the original priorities were
115 W Broadway. Not sure what it is/was, but according to Google Street View, the front hasn’t changed since 2008.
Sign for Inner Space Cavern, Georgetown, Texas. I think the name reflects that it was discovered in the 1960's.

My co-worker Rich had this sign made. In areas where there are potential hazards, it's important to alert those who might not otherwise be aware of them.
Last time I was downtown I noticed stickers on the Movieland Arcade sign notifying of its availability. This is the last of the old school arcades on Granville Street and it never reopened after the initial Covid lockdown back in 2020. I haven't seen a For Lease sign or anything in the window. But the place is just shut and the neon sign has been permanently off. Granville Street just isn't the same without the neon glow of this old sign. I contacted the Museum of Vancouver and hopefully they can acquire this sign for their neon collection.
With all the fog we have been getting due to the rapidly melting snow, this sign caught my attention. I love looking for signs and include them in the image to drive the story.

Just before sunrise and low water at Broadsands, Crow Point, North Devon. Stood by the sign post by the White House looking down towards the Taw Torridge Estuary, towards Instow, Bideford, Appledore and Northam. The colour in the sky reflecting of the mud flats a rich Orange and magenta.
I would like to dedicate this to all the Folks out there for your visits, comments and awards also for your invitations and awarding my images as your favorites.

One of the LOVE signs associated with the state's "Virginia Is for Lovers" slogan is now in place in Charlottesville. The sculpture, recently added to Central Place on the Downtown Mall, is one of many messages of hope on display in Charlottesville following the tragic events earlier this month.
The signs at Scenic Hudson's Esopus Meadows Preserve marking the miles to towns and cities in New York on a cloudy December afternoon.
These painted signs were recently exposed after the demolition of an old building in Downtown El Paso. The John T. Muir Building was built by Trost and Trost architects in 1916. It was originally a beautiful building but had been remodeled at some point. Our City council voted to demolish it because: "It is not on the historic register, It's a non-contributing historic building and it has been irreparably altered." Sad - but cool that these signs were exposed!
