MSH - my 16 year old son.
Sight glass in bow of water then I poured salted cooking wine in the sight glass and this is what happened.
While I was having a snack on a bar in Jardim Botânico / Rio, this guy came in with his friend.
No official identification, he bought a sandwich, put his gun on the seat beside him, and talked with his friend.
Strangely, by the looks of it, I was the only one around upset by this sight.
unseen sights is a song by Alias featuring vocals from Markus Acher from Notwist. the written words are property of Anticon records.
So at 42km, just a couple of hundred meters from the finish line, my legs are finally killing me... I haven't yet stopped or walked but I was close a few times. Then this guy saw me strawlinig along, asked me what I was doing, nearly fell over as he heard what lay behind me and decided he was going to pace me on this last leg to the finish line. He managed to pull me out of marathon-mode and engaged every sprinting fiber in my body. With everything I had I accelerated to 15 km/h only to find I had even more power left. When my wingman turned into the crowd to let me finish I took it up to 18 km/h (after a frickin' marathon!!!) and finished in 3:26!!! The official distance would be 44km making my first marathon time even sharper but what an incredible race! I managed to finish 20th overall out of 400+ who started of that morning!

There is a place where I can go
Somewhere that only I do know
Deep in the recess of my mind
The only place where peace I find
And in this dark and shadowed space
Reality’s harshness confronts my face
Far from this fantasy called life
Where truth cuts through me like a knife
Only deep inside my soul
Exists this place where I am whole
And in this darkness without light
I finally see with perfect sight
Each life is filled with joy and pain
And in the end what was the gain
The future flickers like a flame
As we blindly go about this game
Standing back to glimpse the view
In the distance I see you
And as I reach to pull you near
My troubles end, my vision clears
This journey that I must pursue
Begins and ends always with you
You are the center of my soul
You are first and final goal
And as I move through space and time
You’re always there inside my mind
Guiding my each and every move
My ego dies nothing to prove
Only deep inside my soul
Exists this place where I am whole
And in this darkness without light
I finally see with perfect sight
