The back of a 1925 monument for the remembrance of the first King of Italy, next to a very modern lift.
It's not often that you would see a large group gathered in the middle of the frozen Black River in Lorain, OH. With the Charles Berry Bridge in the background, the local Coast Guard Unit appears to be conducting Exposure and Emergency Rescue Drills on and in the frozen river.
Five cars were lined up unsafely, only slightly off the shoulder, each driver outside his vehicle scribbling insurance and ID information on papers awaiting authorities.
Guess someone hit the brakes too suddenly and someone else was texting on his cell phone. Goes to show, you shouldn't drive a sight-obstructing suburband/SUV if you can't drive defensively and predict what the idiot in front of you is about to do.
