A sad sight. Growing up I came to this railyard to watch my grandpa build trains, and take them apart when they came in. One day I wanted to be an engineer, fast forward to 2019 and the whole engineer thing never panned out, and Tilford Yard has been abandoned by CSX as part of precision schedule railroading that is sweeping the industry. We see a CSX manifest switching crews on the mainline, shortly after this photo was taken the train continued south.
The Spanish lighthouse, the only restored building I saw on Corregidor.
Corregidor in Manila Bay was the second most bombed island in the Second World War. Here you can see the damage inflicted by two savage invasions largely unrepaired - a unique sight that brings home the devastating impact of war.

this had arrived with 839 from coventry just 5 days before this and the pair were both out on there second days of service as a WN bus. i copped them both for sight 2021 and also haulaged 839 on the 25 from bilston to bushbury
