The copper line coming from the top vent to the fuel overflow pipe under the cowl. The bottom line is connected to the fuel shut off, and fuel line. When the fuel is shut off with the car running, the sight gauge is drained by the carburetor.
It is rare to see a Ranger's vehicle while we're hiking. Very rare. The two rangers in the vehicle were out looking for a reported downed tree across one of the trails. We didn't see any today.
such a momentous occasion... my first robin sighting of the season.
