We've been burning more wood than we expected this winter. We had four piles of tulip poplar and oak logs, but we've converted them all to heat in our woodstove. That was the free stuff I'd received.
So, I purchased a truckload. Boy, was I glad to see that arrive!

Hidden in plain sight. This is one of my hobbies: Geocaching. You hide a container in the outdoors and provide the GPS coordinates. to geocachers on Geocaching.com. Look up code GC5VCNY. Here I show the grey-painted container with two hooks; one to hand on the tree and the other helps you snag it with a pole or stick. It's amazing how hard it is to see when hanging from a tree, even in plain sight.
Is control marker 4 somewhere around here? This team of four is taking a sighting from a bearing off their orienteering maps before searching.

got Photoshop CS5 at home now and needed a break from typing a long Eng essay, so I decided to do some Eye Photography. (it was pretty challenging getting an in focus shot of my own eye.)
Today started with the sight of snow in the mountains. I don't recall ever seeing the snow line so low. It's more proof that I live in a paradise. I went for a drive loving life. And I got to take photos!
We were at an outdoor concert with our boy laying on my husband's lap when it got a little chilly. After we covered him with the blanket we both saw at the same time how it looked and cracked up instantly. Luckily I stopped laughing long enough to snap a quick pic with my trusty little Canon Elph.
