We didn't want to install any more sod than we had to, so the side yard is just redwood bark mulch for now.
My very small attempts at vegetable gardening will be along the fence. I've got a serious case of black thumb, but at least they're on automatic watering now, so I can't be accused of killing them via drought.

South side of Cessna Stadium on the campus of Wichita State University. WSU ended its football program in 1987 and now the stadium is used for high school football and is home to WSU's track and field teams.

A day late and a dollar short, Fabi and Zizou finally have stockings. Technically they were finished today, but it was at 12:20 am, when we were still up on Christmas night, so maybe it counts as them being done in time for the big day? Anyway, our Christmas was truly fantastic, as was our Boxing Day. We basked in the glow of our record player (and all the new LPs we got!) and did lots of stitching (Pookie's on the brink of finishing her Christmas quilt top) and ate cold stuffing and cookies and enjoyed not being out in the cold, windy sleet and rain.
