A series of shells and similar found over time I made into a set of photos. Worked with the idea for a while, but first now I am starting to be happy with the result.

A "bridge" shot for "At Your Feet" and "Beaches" theme. Was up in the Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon area over the past few days and took one of many shots of these shells in baskets on the ground for sale at a shop in Tlaquepaque.

A simple still shot of a candle and shell arrangement. I desaturated the photo and added a paper texture. Not totally sure I like it, but I must keep going . . .
some shells were found stuck between sediment layers inside this cave. Its origin is associated with a past landcape context before Braziliano tectonic events, when the area was submerged by the sea.
A great feature of the Dolphin Explorer is they dock the boat on a remote barrier island and give you time to do some shelling & explore. On this trip we visited Keewaydin Island. which is the longest un-bridged island on the west coast of Florida.
