One of many photographs from my recent trip up north.
the beach is literally just ALL shells no sand. it's amazing!
These are the photos of my first etsy photo shoot. I took a TON, and narrowed it down to the best 4 or 5 for each piece. The jewelry is made of shells, pearls, semi-precious stones and sterling silver on crocheted silk cord.
These items and others will be listed in my shop at mydamsel.etsy.com once I have a good collection together.
During the summer two men (Solas Art) made a mandala on Shop Street in Galway, out of coloured shells and small circular pieces of wood. It was lovely.
Collected over many years - some from British beaches, some more exotic. Tend to just take photos these days - need less space and dont collect dust!

Erin designed and carved this interpretation of a traditional shell often found on antique furniture. Her version is much more lively and colorful.
Just a line of shells I saw on some rocks in Pembrokeshire which I thought had an interesting look about them.
These shells were laying just like this on the beach at Fort Monroe, VA.

This square of sea shells is on a garage wall by hte beach. I feel the missing shell adds a sense of loss and mystery.
it was difficult to catch the empty shells as they launched out the side of the rifle, but you can barely see one in this shot on the right
