I find this photoshopped picture, that is part of the "Welcome to Shell Drivers Club" email they send you when you register, a bit weird. The hand is just too big.

I think I could spend hours looking through these shells. There are so many different kinds and I used to know all of their names/nicknames, like "cats' paws" and "turkey wings."
situated between Waterloo station and the London Eye, the Shell Building has always caught my attention. It's pretty much the tallest building along the south bank until waterloo east and cuts an imposing figure next to the river.
I came across this work of "art" on my walk this afternoon - no idea who did it, or why, but I know that I like it!

We have a communal back garden with a neighbour who is a landscape gardener, this is just one of the many different shell and windchimes we have all over the place
These shells came from a beach in Hawaii, about six years ago. My husband went over to visit his son, they had a wonderful time together, and he brought back these shells that they had gathered on the beach.
It looked like a good subject for high key : )
Edit * My husband is letting me know that his son, Eric, gathered these shells while he was diving in the ocean! He dove for every single shell! A very special memory of a great time they spent together : )
