The Shell Project - Originally started as an exercise to test some of the features of my new Casio point and shoot camera but turned into an extended study of a single abalone shell. The series shows the results of photographing that shell at different focusing modes and lighting conditions.
A beautiful etched sea shell focal from Etsy artist Havana Beads strung on a sterling silver chain with Swarovski crystals and sterling silver circle bead and fish.

One of many photographs from my recent trip up north.
the beach is literally just ALL shells no sand. it's amazing!
I kept walking and I found a spot that I haven't seen before. It was a little inlet that was carved out and full of shells and rocks.
Collected over many years - some from British beaches, some more exotic. Tend to just take photos these days - need less space and dont collect dust!
Shell by Erin
Erin designed and carved this interpretation of a traditional shell often found on antique furniture. Her version is much more lively and colorful.
These shells were laying just like this on the beach at Fort Monroe, VA.
