Several Decades ago, the Shell Oil Company, put out a number of card series. They also sold albums to put these cards in. Everytime you went to Shell for petrol, or anything else, they gave you some cards. The idea was to collect the whole lot, and generally they were most obliging in allowing you to go through the box, to get the cards you were missing.
I only have the Transport Card series left, the others have been long thrown out.
I have scanned each page. This is the final part, part 2.

Located in the Big Horn National Forest in Wyoming, Shell Falls is on the Shell Creek. The falls are 120 feet high.
Vintage Shell ranch-style gas station, 1975 Nicholasville Road, Lexington KY - Oct 2009. Still a Shell, although as a convenience store. Listed in 1960s city directory operating as Witt's Shell Service.

Three strobes. One on camera DIY ring flash adapter at 1/4 as a fill. Adapter eats about 3-4 stops. So its actually about 1/16-1/32. Camera left gridded strobe as key light at 1/8. Under the shell with grid at full power for inner glow effect.
Discovered in 1835, Margate's Shell Grotto is an astonishing find; 21 metres of winding passages decorated with 4.6 million shells. The walls are covered in images of gods and goddesses, trees of life and patterns of whelks, mussels and oysters. Some think it is an ancient Pagan grotto, others that it is simply an ornate Regency folly; but with no definitive explanation or history, the Shell Grotto is Kent's greatest mystery.

Antique Corn sheller
This is a real "TREASURE", a piece of Amercia's history! GREAT condition. Very HEAVY wood & CAST IRON. Great conversation starter! A MUST HAVE for the serious collector.
19th Century Corn Sheller Made of heavy wood and cast iron. late 1800's. Used to knock corn of the cobb, so it can be ground for cornmeal, also for feeding purposes. NOTE: possibly made by : Schaeffer, Merkel & Co. Fleetwood, Pa

This is from my dad's overly large shell collection. Basically burned daylight all day, and right at sunset i started freaking out because i didn't have a photo yet. I was stuck in the house with no model to shoot outside, so I went on our lanai (patio) and took a shot of my dad's shell collection.
I was thinking about titling my photos from now on..
I constantly amaze myself with the shots I can get without a macro.
I'm still blown away by the fact that a photo of mine made it to #78 on explore (and my photo was day 78 too! lol). Thank you to you all!!
Tomorrow is a school day again ;/ blerg but it will be bench monday! And I do have a piano bench...So I'm looking forward to what photo I'll take tomorrow.

Island Bride (2002), popularly known as the "Shell Dress," is a creation by Brian White that refers to the "Victorian tradition of sailors' Valentines -- intricate souvenirs and tokens of love made with shells." At the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts.
This old Shell station lives in a tucked-away part of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It now serves as an office of some sort.
Here's another oldie... almost 20 years old now, that I uncovered while going through some stuff - Transmetal 2 Black Arachnia.
The 90's were a very strange time for the Transformers franchise, and the Beast series was your G1 I kind of feel bad for you because while you might have had the better show than us in the 80's, the toys your had were certainly bizarre.
For those not in the know, Black Arachnia was a character from the Beast Wars series, first starting as a Predacon, and eventually becoming a Maximal due to I believe due to her hots for Silverbolt, the flying Wolf/Eagle hybrid, but discovering she was originally a Maximal to begin with before being corrupted by the Megatron.
The Transmetal 2 line was the third series of toys for the Beast Wars era, before the REALLY strange toys of Beast Machines, with Black Arachnia upgrading her original body to a Transmetal when she stole the technology from Megatron.
The toy itself became somewhat infamous, first for being one of the few Transformer figures with a "voluptuous female figure", and for the first batch, parents that bitched because the blue thing on her chest was removable (later batches had this blue part glued on).
Enough about history - how does the toy fare?
Well in spider mode it's not bad. Sure she looks super tacky in pink chromed plastic, but that was the character on the show.. I don't think I've ever seen any toy line since use this much chrome on their figures. Also, considering the age of this figure and the horror stories of the chrome flaking off the figure, mine seems to be in pretty good shape.
In robot mode, it's kind of a disaster. Black Arachnia resembles her on screen counterpart, but one of the biggest differences is the size of her comical looking shoulder pads... they were nowhere as giant in the show.
Her face sculpt is... OK, I guess. I mean, it's definitely more on point than her first toy, which was a repaint of the Tarantulas, the other spider character.
The Beast era brought about the wide spread use of ball joints on figures, so the articulation was certainly leaps and bound above what I grew up with. The problem is that due to the loose hip joints, this figure can't really stand on it's own, and the giant backpack she has consisting of her spider shell and legs just bogs her down.
Her weapon consists of what basically is her web shooter, which fits with the character and is generally acceptable. Of course, this is counteracted by a completely useless and invasive gimmick, being her spin kick ability.
So, overall a rather finicky toy that is reminder of the strange design choices of the Beast era, though having said that if I could track down one of those Botcon 2001 Arcee figures for a good price I wouldn't mind having it.
Black Arachnia would continue to get shafted in the toy representation area until the Animated series, when she finally got a toy that was a good representation of her show self, which was itself later repainted as the Beast era character as part of the Japanese only Legends line.

I saw the girl as a modern Venus, therefore I used a shell. (like the painting of Botticelli, the birth of Venus).
I made some pictures of the shell ( I store this thing somewhere on my a bookshelf). I used the magic lasso to cut it. I also had to cut the airoplanes from two different pictures (pfff, this is so time-consuming). The shell exist out of two copies,The top layer is partly removed, to make place for the girl and the water. The droplets are made of a special brush in Photoshop Elements. I blurred the original picture and put it on on 'screen'. The bottom layer is a photo of a darkblue sky with clouds.
