The 1929 Royal York Hotel pictured here and the 1927 Toronto Union Station that I'm shooting from, were largely penned by the same architectural firm, Ross and McDonald.

This was my third trip out to photograph the share cropper homes at Audubon's Strawberry Plains.
At this time, the homes (now nothing more than shacks) are being examined for their historical significance. The structures are thought to be as old as the late 1800s, and as recent as the early 1900s.

Wrinkled smile, ancient amulets and a lasting friendship. Thai people,
if not all are fund of amulets (the more vintage, the priceless it becomes).
They wear it around their neck -- at times with huge chains made of pure
gold.

Rebuilt EMD SD30C-ECO 1707 and standard SD40-2 8828 had Conrail Shared Assets train CA-11 northbound at Five Points, New Jersey under blue skies.
1707 was originally a Seaboard Coast Line SD40-2 while the 8828 was built for Conrail.

Just to share with you my photography fellows. 6 or 7 years ago I started shooting tiny flowers, bugs and landscapes, I wanted to share them with you guys in Flickr, many of you offered me help to improve my photography but one of my mentors in England called Pete, someone whose friendship has changed my life for the better. He in England, me in Honduras, 2 different countries and cultures, languages, races but with the same goal, to spread some joy to poor children in my place.
2 weeks ago I was awarded by the NGO Vital Voices Honduras with the Leadership in Human Rights 2016, I never ever expected to be awarded, it was never my intention to be recognized like that but one thing takes you to another and now I want to share my little success and I want to inspire others to use our hobby to something meaningful.
I have always said "Photography has changed my life"
