I was shooting this tiger swallowtail mining the blackberry blossoms, and didn't even notice this honey bee cross the frame when I shot this one. Just a nice bonus!

Nice to see these two sharing the Dandelion pollen
Black coffee spilled over the chessboard, turning white fields
dark. The game lost it's duality, it's footing, it's rules.
A bunch of black and white strangers, at a loss where they are. And why. Pointless moves change the game into a free for all.
But there is no escaping the chessboard.

The bright and fresh colors of Spring are all around the yard. More flowers and shrubs are expected. Transplanting some plants take time but spreading the color around the yard is a good idea and fun. I’m spending more and more time working outdoors these days while this social distancing guidelines are in place. Actually, I’m getting more things done in the yard, washing the car more and even taking more walks together. Keeping the yard’s appearance up gets me some exercise and it’s a good way to “Share The Beauty.” Thanks for viewing my work. Remember everyday to wash your 🙏, ☮️
The world quietly teaches us that significance belongs to the center of attention.
But life disagrees.
It happens in unnoticed afternoons, in shoes left beside a seat, in rippling water, in creatures following instincts older than memory. It happens while someone checks a message, while another life glides silently past, and while neither realizes they have become part of the same story.
Perhaps this is why ordinary moments linger with us.
They remind us that existence is not measured only by what we accomplish, but by what we are willing to notice.
Most of life unfolds without applause.
It is no less beautiful because of it.

"If you wish to experience peace, provide peace for another. If you wish to know that you are safe, cause another to know that they are safe. If you wish to better understand seemingly incomprehensible things, help another to better understand. If you wish to heal your own sadness or anger, seek to heal the sadness or anger of another"

Egocentric thoughts will only take us so far in life. It is in doing things for others that we find happiness.

Taken while on a photo walk last Summer. I know that some of you are getting a lot of rain and are in serious need of sunlight so I'll share some. Sorry I can't send the warmth.
A buck and a squirrel quietly share some corn. I believe this poor little squirrel was about to be lunch for a Great Horned Owl, but managed to get away. This is after he had been healing for months. The fur was torn off his face and shoulder with a puncture would right in the middle. I first called him 'Holy Moly' but soon after he became 'Padre'. He is still quite timid; can't blame him.
Yellow is the most visible color of the spectrum and it’s the color that captures our attention more than any other color. Yellow is the color of happiness, and optimism, of enlightenment and creativity. In almost every culture yellow represents sunshine, happiness, and warmth. In this case, in addition to the striking yellow color of the petals, I captured reproductive organs of one flower - waiting to be fertilized, and that is why I named this picture "Share my life".
We saw him on our way to Alta Lake Whistler crossing the road a few times... may be checking which side of the grass is greener!!!
Many thanks to all those who view, fav or comment my pictures. I very much appreciate it.

In 1996 SD40-2-3316 was selected by Union Pacific and renumbered SD40-2-1896 to commemorate the first Summer Olympic Games held in Athens, Greece in 1896.
SD40-2-B3339 was also selected by UP and renumbered to-1996 to commemorate the twenty-sixth Summer Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia, whose slogan was "Share the Spirit".
The two locomotives received special livery for the Atlanta Summer Olympics and pulled the Olympic Flame Special Train to Atlanta.
After the Olympics, UP assigned the 2 SD40-2s to general service for a few months before repainting them into traditional UP colors.
In June 1996, I stumbled across the pair waiting to be assigned to a train. Later that day I chased them across Iowa on a grain empty.
