Now, in winter, the river is running high for a few days. The river authority is sharing some of the water they retained most of last year. Right now the level stands at 2.92m , and the Ebro looks like a river rather than a creek. Most of the summer and fall the level was low, at times 0.58m which is way below the sediment replacement level for the Delta. The red line to the right of the writing on the wall is the minimum waterlevel required to sustain the delta. The writing says: "No to water diversion".
here are a few visitors out of the 30+ which suddenly lined up yesterday to use the birdbath...they live here yearround...but I don't see more than 3-4 at the bied bath at one time...I have a lot of pictures but don't want to bore my flicker friends...they were quite good about waiting in line...but I am looking for a solution...please read caption under previous picture...
Former Western National Bristol VR No.1186 (FDV818V) is now in the hands of Chepstow Classic Buses and is seen here at Winkleigh.
Alongside, showing the heritage of the VR’s ECW bodywork, is what appears to be a Bristol LD with rear entrance. Not sure of its origins, the only distinguishing feature that was readily identifiable without trespass was an aluminium plate riveted to the chassis ahead of the front axle reading “230015”.
Judging by the paintwork revealed by the removal of the engine it would appear to have originated in a “Green” fleet. Western National can be discounted owing to the “T” type destination layout. Southern Vectis, perhaps?

U.S. Army Spc. Justin Larch, rigger with 11th Quartermaster Company of Fort Bragg, N.C., inspects a parachute prior to a partnership jump over the Mimosa Flat Drop Zone, South Africa, July 23. The jump was in preparation for an exercise that South African and U.S. Soldiers will conduct jointly during Shared Accord 13. Shared Accord is a biennial training exercise which promotes regional relationships, increases capacity, trains U.S. and South African forces, and furthers cross-training and interoperability. Deze is gemaakt op iso 200, f=5, -0,3 EV, diafragma-voorkeur, afstand naar object = 67 cm op 105 mm (op mijn toestel is dit 157,5 mm)

It misses a bit of sharpness in the colored wing and the top of the flower should be a bit sharper as well, but I'm happy with the result.
I am looking to find the right setting (iso, aperture).
Camera settings: iso 200, f=5, -0,3 EV, aperture priority, distance to object = 67 cm, 105 mm (on my camera this is 157,5 mm)

Chloe and this little boy shared the swing because it wouldn't work with only one person on it. The boy's father helped out and everyone was really enjoying themselves. It was so nice to see my family again! I'm really loving the camera on my iPhone I think it takes great photos!
