For this project we had to incorporate shape in a way that enhances the photo. I think I did this well because the shape of her body stands out well against the water and it makes a good focal point.
I was on tour with Lucas to shoot some inline tricks when I saw this interesting architecture, I was able to try some shots until I was told to leave :-/...first time ever tobacco filter shot.
Tried some stronger postprocessing cause I thought it would fit the futuristic shapes.

From a sunrise shoot at Newcastle Beach, NSW, Australia yesterday. There was a blanket of grey cloud on the horizon which blocked the rising sun, so the light wasn't ideal but at least I got out :-))

Compositionally Challenged
The Brief 4. Shape:
Capture the geometric shapes of street signs, traffic lights, or the rounded corners of a building, highlighting their distinct outlines.
This building was somewhere in London, possibly near London Bridge Station.
For my first photo essay (does anyone have a better name for a small collection of related photos?), here are some shapes and shadows that caught my eye around the house today. I figured I would get things started with these and move on to more "serious" photo essays as the year progresses.
All photos were made using my Fujifilm X-Pro3 with the Voigtländer NOKTON 35mm f/1.2 lens and are SOOC (straight out of camera) using a custom film simulation based on Acros that I call "EPD-X 400".

It is an extremely wet dull rainy day so we jumped in the car and went for a drive. I was on the look out for shapes for this week's challenge, you can see the rain if you zoom in. I actually love these days, it makes such a change to the endless summer photos lol This is a new build, an apartment block going up at The Mount.
This shape was made wearing LaraX Petite mesh body and Lelutka EvoX 3.1 Kaya head.
