Another card for the shapes challenge. I wanted to make some fairy tale like houses - so the uneveness of the windows and doors and such is on purpose :)
I was looking for a sentiment - but just couldn't find a suitable one - so I chose to leave this one blank.

I haven't had as much time since school started to shoot, and any self-portrait stuff has been hit-or-miss (mostly miss). So after some serious trial and error, this worked out today.
There are other things I want to try with this concept, I just don't have everything I need to do it.
The 35mm lens is fantastic though, I think it will be always and forever be my go-to lens. More dashes! -------
One for the 52 Week Challenge theme of Shapes and Forms.
Heading to the 1300 year old Yew tree in the Churchyard at St Mary's Church, Sullington, I hoped that my macro lens would show the shapes I remembered having seen in the gnarled old tree trunk. This area made me think of a landscape viewed from above, perhaps somewhere deep in a canyon somewhere more exotic than sleepy West Sussex.
