Shadow on Tree Stump

when the sun comes through the bird-shaped holes in the paper window coverings, it casts these light-shapes on the adjacent window.

I love how the birds swoop around, flying in always changing spirals as the sun moves across the sky.

Shadows tell a story ... Guess what ?

little clown man being all big and shadow-ey and oddly artistic looking :)

Shadows and light at play on the balcony of Wilson Creek Winery. We had a very enjoyable moment yesterday when, thanks to Jeff and Tom, had an opportunity to meet and talk with Rosie Wilson, the founder of Wilson Creek, as she was tending her rose bushes planted around the winery's Creekside Grill. She was so gracious, giving us the history of the winery, and also took group photos with us. Tom has a beautiful portrait of her here:

Shapes created by the shadows seen when sunlight shines through a curtain onto a wall and stairwy. But I want a more exciting / expressive name for the image. Does anyone have any ideas ???

A capture from inside the golconda fort

Lonely. Don't know why. Can't explain it. But lonely. Even with a shadow to lead the way.

I gave Shadow a bath, so her back feathers were spiked up. Afterwards, I was cleaning her cage. She likes to throw water when the vacuum was on, so I pulled the bowl outside of the cage. She came out anyways and threw water at me.

Shadow heads up to say hello, he has no concept of how much bigger and scarier (looking) he is to slightly smaller canines!

He's a big marshmallow of a dog though, as the little pups normally find out quickly enough!

Shot taken from the Four Season Resort in Bora Bora. The palm tree cast a great shadow pointing toward the volcano.

In the shadows of my garden in Leeuwarden I installed a sandbox for my daughter. She loved it! And the Miffy toys too :)

I was laying on the bed all day because of this bad fever. Finally i got bored and got on my knees to shoot the last light rays of the day that was coming out of my window.

Light tricks at Porthcawl

The 1/2 Belgian 1/2 German Shepherd, Shadow, uses his keen instincts and highly developed sense of smell to track down the cube of ice which keeps trying to give him the slip. He knows it's still there though...somewhere.

One of the neighbour has bought this 400 watts sodium spotlight that was burning our bread in our kitchen. I took this shot and some more and went to tell him to take it down or I would sue him. He took it down but for the next years it was still a real nuisance.

Just capturing the warm light and long shadows of sunset..

Same setup as Attitude. Love the pose in this shot, but hate the shadows. Would have totally dug this on the high key setup.

If you live in Utah and haven't been involved with Photowalking Utah, you should really check it out. I've only been to a couple of events, but it's always been a great time. www.photowalkingutah.com/
