Shadow is no longer of this earth. My neighbors were taking care of him briefly when I shot this.

This is the shadow from Steph's kitchen door reflecting onto the floor. It's the one spot in the kitchen that's worn like this. When you look closely you can see the original hardwood floor and then three subsequent new floors, each one built on top of the old.
Benni and I discovered that we're much thinner in our shadows at 7:00 a.m. And much cooler on a hot day!
Back on public display after completion of its brief candidature in a photo contest in which, after due reflection, the judges chose to merge this one permanently with the shadows in round two.
Change of batteries in the flash to the side boosted the shadow - Linzi giving a helping hand on this one!

Rob Fraud and the rest of these moronic reactionary fools are prime examples of the reason why we should be investing in more and broader forms of education and not closing libraries. A learned population would not vote for these hateful imbeciles in the first place.
