We made another trip to the sunflower fields after being skunked with the clouds last weekend. I used the windshield shade out of our car to reflect some light back on the sunflowers.

This moose cow was resting calmly in the afternoon shade. I had spotted her from the lookout ridge and made my way down and around to capture her with the Tetons in the background. I used "manual zoom" since the camera was equipped with a fixed lens. The light was still a little harsh that time in the afternoon, but it's okay, and it was worth the hike.
