"Studio" setup for the dead moth macro shots. Eos 7D, Canon 15-85 IS EF-S, two auto extension tubes, Manfrotto tripod, Speedlite 430 EXII (usually hand-held at different angles). Flash triggered wirelessly from the 7D, whose flash acts as the master but does not fire.
Glasses on white mount board (I still can't find acrylic sheet or plexiglass :( )
SB-600 hidden behind and below glass setup and pointed at white foam sheet.
The setup for my first strobist-style experiments. The sunlight through the patio door didn't enter into the picture as I blocked it with some white foam core that I was using as a fill.

Tent setup in the cattle staging area of the show ground - good area in case we experience heavy storms.

Here's the Gitzo and Arca Swiss with my very sophisticated studio setup and a lot of mess.
In fact cleaning up and sorting out this space is a high priority. I think I will go and do it right now!
Another thing on the priority list is to get rid of my camera strap!
In the 4-H Table Setting Contest at the 2013 Lancaster County Super Fair, youth selected a theme and displayed one place setting, including table covering, dishes, glassware, silverware, centerpiece and menu. Youth chose one of the following categories: formal, casual, picnic or birthday.

My seemingly ever changing setup, three types of turntable, idler drive, belt drive and direct drive and three classic Technics amps, and some more stuff.
Two Vivitar 285hvs behind subject one meter, and to either side one meter, aiming directly at his head, at full zoom. Both are through 3/4 Windows Blue gels, at 1/4 power ( for fast recycle times and allowing me to use a smaller aperture so that the background blurs). White 60" reflector hand held in the front to bounce some fill onto his face. Triggered via skyports.
