I thought it was going to take a while to setup this power meter, but it was as simple as installing any bike computer. The calibration took a little while, but it was nothing too onerous.
Portable setup for audio field recording with A/B stereo and XY stereo. The flash arms allow easy adjustment of the distance and position of the omni mics (LOM mikroUÅ¡i Pro). The XY microphones can be used for a slightly more directed recording or omitted to save weight. Positioning the two omnis very close together and close to the sound source gives a "sonic microscope" effect. The flash bracket is ARCA Swiss compatible, so I can use it with a mini tripod as a handle or on a full size tripod. To be used for making recordings of Unnatural Language (www.michaelang.com/project/unnatural-language) at Dinacon in the jungle in Panama. Inspiration from Colin Hunter and Chris Watson.

SB900 is at the back of the box pointing into it. The orchid is in front of a tracing paper covered window in the box. A piece of black card over the tracing paper only allows light through the edges of the window. The pieces of card around the box act as reflectors to direct the light from the sides and above.
