We took a fascinating little workshop in setting type today. That case behind Amy is a typical type-setter tray set-up, where small letters were in the bottom case, and the capital letters were above. This standard set-up led to the different cases being called "upper case" and "lower case." Boom.

Day 201.
Today was absolutely beautiful. It started off frosty and bright, the sun shone all day and this evening I saw the sun setting - I've seen it before as I'm driving home but never found somewhere to stop off to actually get any photos.
I was watching it in my rear view mirror then saw a road I could turn onto and so I parked and took several shots - I think I'd have had to be there 5 minutes earlier and waited another 10 minutes to get the best photos but I was pleased with what I managed.
As I couldn't decide which one to use (there's a surprise!) I'll put a selection of the others below this. I think I may get more chances at these if this weather continues and I may stick the tripod in the car next time. Some time-lapse images would be good too ...
Clifton last night at The Evening Muse, Downtown Charlotte in the NODA district. NODA is for all local and national artists in the area. Great place!
Yesterday I was at a friends who lives 30 miles away across the national forest. The sun goes down so early now I stopped to catch the moon.

In the 4-H Table Setting Contest at the 2015 Lancaster County Super Fair, youth selected a theme and displayed one place setting, including table covering, dishes, glassware, silverware, centerpiece and menu. Youth chose one of the following categories: formal, casual, picnic or birthday.
During the contest, set up their table and have five minutes to present their table setting to a judge. After all judging is complete, the public is welcome to view the tables.
