A white cake with gold embellishments. The top tier is a dummy tier covered in fondant, with gold sequins hand-placed in a chevron pattern. The bottom tier is confetti cake filled and covered with American buttercream with gold gumpaste accents. The cake is topped with a white gumpaste rose. The sequins were made using a tutorial by Kara's Couture Cakes. The top tier was inspired by women's fashion.

My girlfriend just purchased a Sony Nex 6, which I started playing around with. Seems like a really nice little camera. She found it on eBay, and it didn't come with the kit lens, so I've been using it with my Rokkors and an adapter. Might be nice to have the kit lens, just to have a wide angle option, but the Rokkors seem to be working really well.
